York Ave and BW Pkwy MVA on #2 |

24, 2009 - At 1136 hours, Engine Company 27 was
alerted to New York Avenue and B/W Parkway for a
motor vehicle accident involving PGPD. E27 arrived
to find a two car accident as the result of a police
chase. The subject had been running from PGPD due to
the amount of drugs he was carrying and was also
under the influence. The subject began throwing some
of his stash into the river as Police got him under
control. A Police Officer and the subject were
injured in the collision, the 3 year old child the
subject had with him was not thankfully due to being
in a child seat. The subject was transported by M8
and PGPD, and the Officer signed a refusal. |
