12, 2009 - At 2121 hours, units with the 2nd
Battalion were alerted to the 1600 block of
Minnesota Avenue, SE for a building. E27 responded
4th due and found the fire to be in the 1600 block
of 17th Street, SE. E27 requested and was granted
the 1st due position, finding a two story vacant
apartment building with fire showing from the roof.
T16 opened up and the fire was quickly knocked down.
The Box was scaled back to two and two in 30
minutes.
