7, 2009 - At 1618 hours, units with the 2nd
Battalion were alerted to 49th and Nash Street, NE
for a house. As E27 responded, communications
advised the corrected address would be in the 1200
block of 48th Street, NE. E27 arrived on side Alpha
of a two story single family with smoke showing. E27
found a fire that had started on the first floor,
burning a hole through the floor and falling into the basement.
The fire was quickly knocked down by units with not
further extension. The Box was held
shortly after to one and two to assist
