10, 2009 - At 0552 hours, Units with the 2nd
Battalion were alerted to the 5000 block of Just
Street, NE for a house. E27 arrived on side Alpha of
a two story duplex with smoke showing side Alpha.
E27 entered the home, locating an adult female and
Pvt Pumilia(Lineman) and Pvt Moose(Layout) quickly
removed the subject with assistance from T17. EMS
started CPR to the unconscious person and
transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed
to her injuries. The fire was quickly knocked down
with no further extension. The Box held with E27,
E30 and T17 in 30 minutes. On a side note, this was
Pvt Pumilia's first tour after transferring to E27.
