H St House on #2

January 15, 2009 - At 2123 hours, Units with the 1st Battalion were alerted to the 1800 block of H Street, NE for smoke. E27 arrived on side Charlie and found a two story row with smoke showing bringing the Working Fire Dispatch. E27 forced entry to the basement door and was met by heavy fire with extension to the first and second floors of the fire building and the rear porch of the Delta exposure. A second alarm was alerted and put in staging as E27 got a knock on the bulk of the fire. The fire was placed under control in 20 minutes and the Box was later held to two and two.
