20, 2008 - At 1040 hours, Units with the 3rd
Battalion were alerted to the 3700 block of O
Street, SE for a house with people trapped. Units
arrived on side Alpha of a one story single family
with fire showing. As the units made an attack on
the fire, it was learned that the neighbor had
removed the occupant from the house prior to FD
arrival. E27 arrived and picked up E32's line and
backed them up in the basement area and checked for
extension, finding none. A quick knock on the fire didn't impress
anyone as a second alarm was sounded. E27
cleared in one hour.
