was alerted to the 3100 block of Mount Pleasant
Street, NW second due on the 4th alarm for the
building. The 4th Battalion units were working on
the scene of a four story apartment building with
fire on all floors. The 5th Alarm was sounded a
short time later. An exposure church on side Charlie
caught fire and became a 3 alarm fire. The two fire
made this the biggest fire in DC in 30 years.
