March 1, 2008 - Units were alerted for an injured person in the 1800 block of Kenilworth Ave, NE. While responding, Communications upgraded the assignment for one trapped underneath a salt truck. E27 arrived and found one injured approximately 10' up on top of a salt hopper. The victim was struck by a snow plow being positioned by a crane. Rescue 3 used their stokes basket along with an onsite crane to move the victim to the ground, where he was transported to a local trauma center.
